Erica K. Baker Cummings, DDS, FAGD
Erica Cummings earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas in 2006 and then completed a one-year general practice residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science.
Dr. Erica then spent almost two years in a cosmetic dental practice overlapping with more than two years working in a pediatric dental practice and other general dentistry practices. These experiences thoroughly prepared her to open a dental practice and offer the best dental care to not only adults, but also kids and teenagers. She has since been awarded with a Fellowship by the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2012 and is currently working towards obtaining her Mastership Award by attending many comprehensive continuing education workshops, lectures and presenting her cases to colleagues.
Erica is a humanitarian confirmed by her contributions to community service such as Give Kids A Smile Day at UTDB annually, Dentistry From the Heart community event, volunteering at the Star of the South Dental Meeting as a class captain/host. During the summer of 2015 Dr. Baker, along with her assistant Bridget, traveled with a team of medical and dental professionals to Guatemala to serve the indigenous Mayans. Finding ways to improve her dental skills and techniques is as equally important as continuously striving to improve her ability to be involved with the local community and beyond.
Melissa Fleeman, RDA
Melissa joined the Sterling Ridge dental team January 2015 and has been involved in dentistry since 1992. In addition to her RDA certification, Melissa has become a Certified Dental Assisting Instructor and teaches other students aspiring to enter the dental field as a dental assistant. Her certifications include: Nitrous Oxide monitory, CPR and Radiology. She truly loves the customer service aspect of the dental field, enjoys meeting new people and educating patients on new technology and techniques to maintain and optimize their oral health. In her free time, Melissa enjoys cooking, working out, the sunshine, live music and spending time with her 2 children Brooke and Austin. Her mission in life is to serve God, meet the needs of others and to use her interpersonal skills to create a positive impact on the world.
Jennifer Karonika, RDA
Jennifer was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Texas when she was 2 years old, where she grew up in the Spring/ Lake Conroe area. Jenn received her RDA license from The Greater Houston Dental Society and has been working in the dental field since 1999. She joined Sterling Ridge Cosmetic and Family Dentistry upon its opening in May 2011, and her role is Office Coordinator.
Her abilities include a multitude of dental administrative skills in addition to certifications in nitrous oxide, radiology and CPR. She feels very blessed to be working with such a great dental team! When reflecting on her career path, she mostly enjoys the impact she can make when changing a patient’s smile because of its power to transform their life and build their confidence. Jenn also enjoys how her career allows her to continuously develop lasting relationships with team members and patients. Outside of work, Jennifer loves traveling and spending time with her husband, Rodney, along with her family and friends, as they mean the world to her.
Bridget Klesel, RDA
Bridget Klesel has been a member of the Sterling Ridge team since May 2011 and has been working in the dental field since 1996. Bridget grew up in a small farm town in south central Iowa and received her degree with a license in dental assisting from Des Moines Area community college in 1996. She then moved to Houston in 2002 and worked in the Houston metropolitan area for 9 years before moving to Magnolia in 2011 to start a family. Bridget came to work with Dr. Erica Baker when she opened her dental practice in 2011. Her certifications include: nitrous oxide, CPR, training at the LVI Institute, Great Lakes Orthodontics, and Spear Institute. She has many years of experience in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and TMJ therapy.
Bridget married her husband Bryan in 2005, who has been with Schlumberger since 1998, and has 2 children, Sam and Addi. In her spare time she is busy with her son’s sports events and spending time with family. Bridget also volunteers her time at the Give Kids a Smile Day pediatric event annually, the Dentistry From the Heart community event, and recently participated in a group mission trip to Guatemala serving the indigenous Mayans during the summer of 2016. Her goal in dentistry is to pamper and wow her patients while helping provide the best dentistry possible. She looks forward to meeting you as a new patient!!
Miranda Norvell, RDH
Miranda has been with Sterling Ridge Cosmetic and Family Dentistry since December 2013 and has been a practicing dental hygienist since 2006. She is currently working toward her Masters Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her certifications include: nitrous oxide monitoring, CPR, radiology and laser therapy. She has a strong passion for dentistry, customer service and continuously expands her knowledge and skills though continuing education. Miranda married in 2006 to Marcus Norvell, who works for Schlumberger since 2000. They live in and are active members of The Woodlands community. In addition to spending much of her time with her two boys, Leland and Westen, Miranda enjoys cooking and crafting.
Danielle Wolfe, RDH
Danielle joined Sterling Ridge Cosmetic and Family Dentistry in March 2015. She graduated from Lone Star Community College in Kingwood, Texas, with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, focusing on Dental Hygiene. While attending college, Danielle was awarded with the Outstanding Student Award for the Science division in 2009. Her certifications include: preventive sealant placement, nitrous oxide monitoring, radiology and laser therapy. She loves helping patients improve and increase their confidence through educating them on the importance of good oral health. Danielle is married to her high school sweetheart Jassen Wolfe, a member of the Baker Hughes team since 1998 and is a proud mother of son Seth and daughter Makenzie.
